Projects
Current Projects:

Musical Theatre
As we launch this website, the primary project on my plate is to finish composing the remaining songs in Kai Cofer's play, "The Process". I hope you enjoy the first songs from this play now available in the Alphasongs Catalog. I will be introducing you to Kai in the Alphasongs Blog (Sharing thoughts) as this and other theatre projects progress. Kai is a prolific playwriter, having written well over a hundred theatre and film scripts out of Los Angeles.

Come My Way:
This is a new five-part song that became a fun story telling game as well. So right now, the actual rules of the game are a part of the official musical score registered under copyright and by ASCAP. So when you make an order to purchase rights to the official score (minimum order is 5 scores for $10) , you will also receive the official game rules with the musical score. The purchased official score includes game rules, the free perusal score does not. I am definitely interested in continuing to develop and distribute Come My Way as a game to package.

Composing Games:
In addition to Come My Way, which is a song that is an actual game, I have an emerging series of songs which involve some kind of musical constraint in the composition. It is a kind of a game to me to write a song that has some musical pattern of constraint that persists in the composition.
The first one of these was Driving Around and Round Again which is composed around a repeating four-bar phrase in the tenor and baritone parts. Another song introduced last year in this group was Skip On the Crazy Side. In this song, the title of the song is sung in a specific rhythm in one or more of the five parts in almost measure
The new song in this series is Sing it Forward, which also includes some optional theatrics around passing a baton. In this song, the baton passing is defined by the persistent presence of one note (F-natural) in every single beat of the song among one or more of four voice parts of the song.

Future Projects:
I intend to continue to compose and publish music as long as I am alive. This work is my dream.
Musical Theatre
Finishing "The Process". This work is committed and under contract. But Kai and I are talking about other projects after this one

Commissions
I can consider accepting commissions for new a cappella works. I am not accepting commissions for accompanied work at this time but I am studying and trying to expand my composing always.
Lyricist Arrangements
If you are a lyricist interested in having your work set to my style of a cappella music and you you have a professional track record of published work, that I can review, I would consider possibilities. Just get in contact with me and tell me about yourself and your work.

My Own Projects
I want to continue another "Composing Game" song or three in that series. I'd like to create a "Trios" series of purely three-part a cappella harmonies. Perhaps more work with holiday or sacred genres. I guess I'll have plenty to keep me busy and nothing makes me happier. I consider it a blessing to be able to do this work.

Instrumental Arrangements
Sometimes it's fun to listen to my harmonies with instruments instead of voices. So I have and will continue to publish these arrangements on SoundCloud. I will be updating these in the coming weeks. There are times I enjoy listening to these instrumental arrangements on shuffle. But I would definitely consider a request to actually create scores for an instrumental arrangement of my songs. You can listen to some of these below or on SoundCloud.
Would you like to consider commissioning me to compose/arrange a vocal ensemble song? Feel free to connect with me
