A little more quiet time

Right now this website has a limited audience even though most of the usability updates are done. Outside of a few musical connections, friends and meet-ups, there are maybe a few dozen people who know the site is up and the new songs are available. This is by design. I am still in a soft launch phase and will be for a few more weeks. Your comments and questions are welcome. Also check out the site on your phone as well.

The public launch and marketing of the catalog is being delayed for personal reasons. I am going through a divorce which has been delayed. So I have some more quiet time. And, I am taking a break from the last several weeks of being a web developer back to composing, my true passion. Time to write new songs.

I also need to focus attention now my social media profiles. My Alphasongs email is transitioning from ofnotemkamp@gmail.com to Matthew@Alphasongs.net. Easier to remember. I am beginning to develop a more music centric Instagram profile as well as updates to the Alphasongs Facebook page. My songs are public on YouTube and Soundcloud, but not yet promoted. I am considering other distribution. Maybe Spotify or Apple. In November, I will turn my attention to finding singers with musical connections to sing my songs.

I also just got back from a nice restful fews days away on a much needed vacation. I need to take more little get aways this fall. Maybe I'll book one today.
