I'm glad to have planned a quiet weekend. Lot's of thoughts to process, and I am listening to my friends and others sharing thoughts about the big changes coming on the horizon.
Before I go farther, I believe politics is a matter of personal judgment. And I have come to learn the wisdom of keeping matters of personal judgement mostly private in most situations. But I do make observations and note that I do have a few friends considering becoming ex-pats. I also observe that the US state I'm from was the only one to move in a different political direction from the rest of the country. I believe this won't go unnoticed by the next US administration. But I also have other friends that sense relief and are happy to be on the "team" that won.
What I know in my heart is that I want a calm personal space with a continued path to share feelings and stories in my music and share thoughts and observations here on this blog. But I will try hard to be objective here and save my personal judgements and feelings for my lyrics and personal journal (as opposed to this blog). That is a boundary important for me to set, part of adopting non-violent communication.
I'm definitely thinking about my physical location and know that I have options to consider different places but not too far away. I do like my current space and will be there for a little while. Right now, I'm still praying things get settled peacefully this month going into the holidays. Best wishes to you too. Sincerely,
