So far, this week has given me opportunities to complete many necessary beginning of the year tasks, most of which have nothing to do with composing music. It's been that way for the last few months, but I am beginning to complete enough of these task to feel like I'm managing to keep pace with things.

Last month, i was giving significant focus to mental and physical healthcare and general well being. With this effort, I'm feeling a sense of personal care accomplishment, with good test results and some complex personal care circumstances very much on the mend. I'm happy in my own skin and with the progress last month.

Also I've mentioned the transition to new computers, Windows --> Apple which is a transition I'm enjoying and am warming up too. One of the main reasons to upgrade was that my old equipment couldn't run the latest versions of my composing software, Musescore. But now, I'm functional on Musescore 4.4. The upgrade does involve significant manual editing both in the musical engraving and sound output and this is taking time to implement on all 22 currently published songs. In other general news, I will begin further distribution of my catalog of song videos more directly to my Social media platforms, including the Alphasong's Facebook page, and the new AlphasongsMatt Instagram profile. If you're connecting with the social media links on the website, you'll soon see this more direct access of my music. So with production work, file upgrades and editing, taxes and books, and planning a public rollout of the music, its a lot of what I call, gruntwork, not much composing for a few weeks. But a necessary avenue to move forward. Looking forward to the weekend. Matthew
